The invention discloses environmentally friendly gel pen ink and a preparation method thereof. The environmentally friendly gel pen ink is prepared from, by weight, 10-20 parts of polypropylene glycol diglycidyl ether, 5-10 parts of bisphenol A type epoxy resin, 4-8 parts of acrylic acid emulsion, 10-20 parts of poly vinyl acetate emulsion, 2-6 parts of isinglass and 100-120 parts of water vapor. The environmentally friendly gel pen ink has the advantages that non-toxic, harmless and less-volatile raw materials are adopted and are mixed, heated and concentrated by utilizing the water vapor, so that the finished product ink has very high stability and less volatile property, is high in environmentally friendly degree and does not cause pollution. 本发明公开了环保型中性笔油墨及其制备方法，包括按重量份计：10-20份的聚丙二醇二缩水甘油醚、5-10份的双酚A型环氧树脂、4-8份的丙烯酸乳液、10-20份的聚醋酸乙烯乳液、2-6份的鱼胶和100-120份的水蒸汽。本发明的有益效果是采用无毒无害不易挥发的原材料，并利用水蒸气进行混合加热、浓缩操作，使得成品油墨具有极高的稳定性和不易挥发性，对环境友好度高，不会造成污染。
