The invention relates to a point-to-point ZRTP password verification method and system. The method comprises the steps of obtaining ZRTP password Hash codes through a ZRTP protocol; converting the ZRTP password Hash codes into a digital password; carrying out text-to-voice conversion on the digital password, thereby obtaining the audio text of the digital password; and verifying the ZRTP password Hash codes by playing the audio text.
