Summary:The invention relates to a novel cellulose/hydroxylated multiwalled carbon nanotube/Fe3O4 nano-particle composite fiber and a preparation method thereof. The composite fiber comprises, by weight, 89.6-99.45 parts of cellulose, 0.5-10 parts of hydroxylated multiwalled carbon nanotubes and 0.05-0.4 part of Fe3O4 nano-particles. The fiber is prepared from the raw materials through a solvent method. By means of the method, the hydroxylated multiwalled carbon nanotubes can be dispersed, furthermore, cellulose can be dissolved at the normal temperature, the preparation condition is mild, and the procedure is simple and convenient. According to the composite fiber and the preparation method thereof, the hydroxylated multiwalled carbon nanotubes and the Fe3O4 nano-particles are made to uniformly adhere into cellulose through electrostatic force and hydrogen bonds, the obtained regenerated cellulose composite fiber is stable in performance and homogeneous in texture, compared with traditional regenerated cellulose fib
