Summary:The invention relates to a preparation method of a high-pore-volume high-specific-area silica gel, belonging to the technical field of silica gel preparation. The invention aims to solve the problem that the incapability of simultaneously implementing high pore volume and high specific area restricts the development of the silica gel in the silica gel product produced in China at present. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing sodium carbonate and a surfactant, putting sodium silicate in water, and forming the silica sol under the acidic action. The surfactant restricts the growth of primary particles and increases the specific area. The sodium carbonate is coated; and under the action of high-temperature calcination, the coated sodium carbonate is removed to form the large pore volume.
