Summary:The invention relates to the electric connector field, especially relates to an electric connector and an electric connector assembly. The electric connector comprises a spinning guiding groove, which is provided with a starting end and a locking position. A stop pin installation hole is disposed in the spinning guiding groove, and comprises a stop pin protruding opening and a stop pin installation opening. The stop pin protruding opening is disposed in the groove wall of the spinning guiding groove close to the locking position, and is disposed between the locking position and the starting end. The stop pin installation opening is disposed in the outer surface of the electric connector, and is used for installation of a corresponding stop pin to prevent the retreating of the corresponding staple bolt toward the starting end along the spinning guiding groove.
