Summary: | The invention discloses an adjustable double-fiber collimator and an application thereof, and belongs to the field of optical communication. The collimator comprises a first optical fiber, a second optical fiber, and a fiber collimating lens. The collimator is characterized in that the first optical fiber is clamped by a first capillary tube; the second optical fiber is clamped by a second capillary tube; and the central distance between the first and second capillary tubes and the angles of the first and second capillary tubes can be adjusted. Because the central distance between the first and second capillary tubes and the angles of the first and second capillary tubes can be adjusted, the manufacturing of various types of devices through the collimator provided by the invention is very easy, and the collimator also can meet the demands of the miniaturization trend of optical devices.
