The invention discloses a bidirectional flow distribution artificial wetland and a treatment method thereof. The bidirectional flow distribution artificial wetland comprises a wetland treatment area and a flow distribution area, wherein a bidirectional flow distribution pipeline is laid inside the wetland treatment area, and the bidirectional flow distribution pipeline comprises an upward flow distribution pipeline and a downward flow distribution pipeline. The bidirectional flow distribution artificial wetland has the advantages that back washing on the artificial wetland is realized by regulating a valve and fully utilizing gravity and water pressure of feedwater only in the absence of external power after an artificial wetland water distribution system is reasonably improved; meanwhile, a water distribution structure of the artificial wetland is more reasonable, water flow dead angle is reduced, and utilization efficiency of the artificial wetland is improved; besides, sewage needs to be changed in multipl
