Summary:The invention belongs to machining equipment, and particularly relates to a numerically-controlled rotary indexing device used in a numerically-controlled machine tool. The numerically-controlled rotary indexing device comprises an output shaft, a flange or a clamp used for clamping work-pieces is installed at the front end of the output shaft, and the output shaft is driven by a numerically-controlled motor through a transmission mechanism; the output shaft is provided with a coder capable of detecting the rotation displacement of the output shaft, a signal output end of the coder is connected to a control unit, and a control signal output end of the control unit is connected to a numerically-controlled motor drive circuit for controlling the numerically-controlled motor.
