The invention provides an electrical storage device which carries an electrical storage unit easily detecting damaging conditions of a laminated film container, and a hybrid excavator carrying the electrical storage device. The electrical storage unit is electrically connected with an electric motor. Charging-discharging of the electrical storage unit is controlled by a charging-discharging circuit. The charging-discharging circuit is controlled by a control device. The electrical storage unit is held in a frame.
