The invention provides a stepping motor performance test device which comprises a motor installation support used for the installation of a stepping motor; a balancing weight used for applying an axial force to a stepping motor lead screw by the weight thereof; a force distribution cap used for transmitting the axial force of the balancing weight coaxially to the stepping motor lead screw; and a movable support/guiding column used for enabling the balancing weight to move up and down flexibly and to be loaded to the stepping motor lead screw accurately. When the tested stepping motor is under a given load and a given instruction condition, the test device is capable of testing the mechanical performance of the stepping motor such as the displacement, the force moment and the rotation angle and the electric performance such as the current and the power, and data collection and processing and result printing are completed by test software.
