A sterile line of three-line hybrid rice that has grain husks, leaf veins and stalks with red brown-marked properties and that carries a single recessive gene serves as a female parent and is combined with a restorer line without the red brown-marked properties to produce seeds; after female parent sterile line young ears differentiate to enter the sixth stage, the grain husks, the leaf veins and the stalks present the red brown-marked properties; rice plants without the red brown-marked properties are removed before or after the head sprouting of the sterile line, so as to obtain hybrid seeds with the red brown-marked properties, so that the purity of the hybrid seeds is increased; after being harvested, the seeds are sowed and transplanted; statistics are made to a proportion of plants having the leaf veins and the stalks with the red brown-marked properties to |
