The invention discloses an intelligent substation inspection system. The system comprises an inspection mobile device, a roadside data collection device and a remote monitoring center. The inspection mobile device comprises a master control module, a storage module, a wireless receiving and transmitting module, a site data collection module, an encryption module, an action control module and a magnetic navigation module. The inspection mobile device and the roadside data collection device carry encryption, authentication and encrypted data transmission; finally the remote monitoring center associates the decrypted data and received identification information of the inspection mobile device, stores in a database and returns data receiving success response to the roadside data collection device; and the roadside data collection device forwards the data receiving success response to the inspection mobile device. According to the system, automatic inspection and monitoring can be carried out to the substation; an
