Summary: | The invention discloses a method for determining the toxicity of pesticide water dispersible granules by model biological alga. The method comprises the following steps: preparing the pesticide water dispersible granules into a testing pesticide solution with a gradient concentration; diluting biological algae raw solution with sterile water to prepare an algae diluting solution; mixing the testing pesticide solution with the algae diluting solution; culturing at a sealed condition for 72h; counting up algae cells every 24h, and recording the biological effect of the algae cells and physicochemical parameters of the testing solution; calculating the median effective concentration EC50 on the algae cells of the pesticide water dispersible granules according to biological effect parameters of the algae cells; and judging the toxicity of the pesticide water dispersible granules.
