Summary: | The invention provides a non-platinum catalyst promoter which can promote nitric oxide reduction and carbon monoxide combustion in regeneration flue gas during a regeneration process of a fluid catalytic cracking catalyst. The catalyst promoter is formed by loading an inner layer active substance and an outer layer active substance on carrier particles. The inner layer active substance is a lanthanum-cerium-aluminum ternary complex oxide represented by a formula mLa2O3-nCeO2-pAl2O3, and m: n: p =4-6:8-12:1. The outer layer active substance is a manganese-copper-aluminum ternary complex oxide represented by a formula xMnO2-yCuO-zAl2O3, and x: y: z=1-6:0-5:1. The invention also provides a preparation method of the catalyst promoter. Compared with the current catalyst promoter, the catalyst promoter has the nitric oxide removal effect higher by more than 30-40%, and has the carbon monoxide combustion-supporting effect higher by more than 10%.
