Summary: | The present invention discloses a power-saving mode control method and device applied to a vehicle-borne terminal. The method and the device are applied to the MCU arranged in the vehicle-borne terminal. Through the method and the device, after the MCU receives flameout information, the time of receiving the flameout information is set as a first time, the timing is started from the first time, if the MCU always does not receive the effective information transmitted by a CAN bus in the preset time period from the first time, each component in the vehicle-borne terminal is controlled to enter into a power-saving mode, thus the power is saved, and the problem of large power consumption by the vehicle-borne terminal in the prior art is solved.
