Summary: | The invention discloses a sponge electrode for pollutant degradation as well as preparation and an application thereof. A preparation method comprises steps as follows: (1) Ag nano-wire powder and KNO3 are added to distilled water, subjected to ultrasonic dispersion and then stirred for 2-3 h, and a Ag nano-wire solution is prepared; MWNTs (multi-wall nanotubes) and a surfactant are added to the distilled water and subjected to ultrasonic dispersion, and an MWNT solution is prepared; (2) a sponge electrode plate is impregnated in the MWNT solution firstly and then subjected to electro-deposition in the Ag nano-wire solution; (3) an electrode obtained in the step (2) is impregnated with an ethanol solution of TiO2, and the sponge electrode loaded with Ag nano-wires, the MWNTs and TiO2 is prepared through drying.
