Summary:To provide: an electrically conductive composition for thin film printing, which can be used easily for thin film printing and of which the electrical conductivity can be improved easily by the irradiation with light; and a method for forming a thin film conductive pattern. An electrically conductive composition which comprises metal particles, a binder resin and a solvent, wherein an organic compound that has both a hydrocarbon group having a crosslinking cyclic backbone and a hydroxy group is contained in an amount of 5 to 98% by mass in the solvent. The content of the metal particles is 15 to 60% by mass, wherein flat metal particles are contained in an amount of 20% by mass or more. The binder resin is contained in an amount of 0.5 to 10 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the metal particles. The viscosity of the electrically conductive composition is 1.0*103 to 2*105 mPa*s at 25 DEG C.
