The invention relates to a fast ion nitriding method. The fast ion nitriding method comprises the following steps that original-state steel is machined and cut into samples; the samples are sequentially subjected to tempering treatment and polishing treatment, then are subjected to ultrasonic cleaning in an organic solvent after the polishing treatment, and then are blow-dried; the samples are subjected to abrasive blasting treatment, are subjected to ultrasonic cleaning in an organic solvent after the abrasive blasting treatment, and then are blow-dried; and the samples are arranged in an ion nitriding furnace, are subjected to ion nitriding surface treatment by introducing hydrogen for sputtering, and are then cooled to room temperature.
