Summary: | The invention relates to a method for removing ammonia nitrogen and nitrites in a pond culture water body in a nitrification process, belonging to the technical field of aquiculture. A filter material mesh cage is put in the pond, the periphery of the filter material mesh cage is enclosed by polyethylene meshes, a polypropylene filter material is put in the filter material mesh cage, the bottom of the filter material mesh cage is provided with an aeration tray, and the filter material mesh cage is fixed to the bottom of the pond through piles. The simple method of putting the filter material in the culture pond culture water is adopted, thereby saving the external building cost and water circulation cost. The inside of the mesh cage is moderately aerated, thereby keeping the sufficient communication between the filter material and water, and increasing the dissolved oxygen in the culture water body.
