Summary:The invention provides a traffic modeling method and apparatus for a PTN network, and belongs to the field of transmission and IP. The traffic modeling method for the PTN network comprises the steps of acquiring performance configuration information of a plurality of PTN devices and service traffic data of service ports, the service traffic data including time information; classifying the service ports of the PTN devices according to the acquired service traffic data, and removing the classified unstable service ports; and performing modeling calculation according to the service traffic data of the reserved service ports and the performance configuration information, and obtaining a service traffic model of the PTN network. The technical scheme of the invention can be used for establishing the service traffic model with a time dimension and stable classification for the PTN network.
