The invention discloses an electric device and a method for detecting the charging quality. The electronic device comprises an energy collection circuit, a rectification circuit, and a control unit. The energy collection circuit is used for receiving an energy signal which is transmitted from a wireless charging substrate at a transmission frequency. The rectification circuit is used for generating a drive voltage according to the energy signal. The control unit is used for comparing the drive voltage with a reference voltage, comparing the transmission frequency with a reference frequency, and outputting position offset information when the drive voltage is less than or equal to the reference voltage, or the transmission frequency is less than or equal to the reference frequency. Therefore, the device can detect the quality of current wireless charging in real time, and reminds a user whether the placing position of the device needs to be adjusted or not, so as to guarantee that the device can be charged eff
