Summary:A breathing protector (100, 200) to be fitted in a tracheostoma is disclosed. The breathing protector (100, 200) comprises a housing (100, 200) with a distal part (101, 201) and a proximal part (102, 202), a first opening (103, 203) at a distal end of the distal part (101, 201), and a second opening (104, 204) at the proximal end of the breathing protector (100, 200). A valve flap (106, 206) is arranged at the first opening (101, 201) to closingly engage with a valve seat (107, 207) circumferentially of the first opening (101, 201). The valve flap (106, 206) and the valve seat (107, 207) create a main valve being in an open position during inhalation and in a closed position during normal vegetative exhalation through the breathing protector (100, 200). A spring member (108, 208) spring biasing the distal part (101, 201) in relation to the proximal part (102, 202) is comprised in the breathing protector (100, 200) to create a relief valve, being in a closed position during normal vegetative exhalation and tra
