The method includes the steps of regularly obtaining a voltage value on a water level probe to serve as a probe voltage value, comparing the probe voltage value with a stored voltage threshold value, judging that the water tank water level is higher than the water level probe and renewing the water existence data as the probe voltage value if the probe voltage value is lower than the voltage threshold value, judging that the water tank water level is lower than the water level probe and renewing the water inexistence data as the probe voltage value if the probe voltage value is higher than the voltage threshold value, and renewing the voltage threshold value according to the water existence data and the water inexistence data. By means of the method for dynamically regulating the voltage threshold value, water level detection can be well conducted under the condition of algae pollution, and mistakes are avoided.
