The present invention provides a battery pack comprising an electrically insulating member, the battery pack comprising: two or more plate-shaped battery cells which are planar-arrayed such that electrode terminals are aligned in a lateral direction; a pack frame comprising two or more battery cell storing portions which cover the outer peripheral sides of the plate-shaped battery cells, wherein the upper surfaces and the lower surfaces of the battery cells are exposed; a protection circuit module (PCM) which is electrically connected to the electrode terminals and controls the operation of the battery pack; a middle mold which stores the protection circuit module and is mounted onto sealed surplus portions; the electrically insulating member which is applied to the space, which is formed by the sealed surplus portions and the pack frame, and onto the middle mold and the protection circuit module; and a label which covers the battery cells, the pack frame, and the electrically insulating member.
