Summary:The invention discloses a fluid flow measuring method based on an electromagnetic principle. The method comprises the steps that conducting fluid flows into a measuring tube and flows in the direction vertical to magnetic lines in an alternating current magnetic field produced by an electromagnetic coil; the conducting fluid cuts the magnetic lines to produce induced electromotive force, and an electrode detects and transmits the electromotive force to an electro-optical converter which transmits converted digital electromotive force data to a signal receiver through optical fibers; the signal receiver transmits digital signals to a main control computer after conversion, and the main control computer calculates instantaneous flow and accumulated flow of the conducting fluid according to the electromotive force data.
