Summary:The invention discloses a sterilization composition containing bixafen and ethirimol and application of the sterilization composition. The sterilization composition takes the bixafen and the ethirimol as main effective components, wherein the mass ratio of the bixafen to the ethirimol is (1-70):(1-50). The sterilization composition can be used for preventing and treating diseases of cereals, fruit trees and vegetables and in particular can be used for preventing and treating fungal diseases including powdery mildew, rust diseases, damping off, downy mildew, leaf blight, gray mold and the like. The sterilization composition has a relatively high synergistic interaction effect, can be used for overcoming and delaying the drug resistance of germs, and has a rapid sterilization speed and a long lasting period; the application cost is reduced, and the prevention and treatment effect is obviously better than that of a single component.
