The invention provides a device and a method for throttling wellheads of gas storages. The device for throttling the wellheads of the gas storages comprises an inlet device (1), a screw expander, a separation bin (6), a drain device (10) and an exhaust device (12). The screw expander comprises a shell, inlets, outlets and a conical screw (2), the inlets and the outlets are formed in the shell, and the conical screw (2) is positioned in the shell; the inlets are connected with the inlet device (1); the separation bin (6) is connected with the outlets; the drain device (10) and the exhaust device (12) are respectively arranged on the separation bin (6). The method for throttling the wellheads of the gas storages is implemented by the aid of the device for throttling the wellheads of the gas storages.
