The invention provides a selective water-blocking, oil-permeable and sand-preventing proppant as well as a preparation method and an application thereof. The proppant comprises ceramsite and a hydrophobic and oleophylic resin film coating the surface of the ceramsite, and the selective water-blocking, oil-permeable and sand-preventing proppant comprises loose particles with the dispersion rate larger than or equal to 98%; the particles have the particle size of 0.4-0.8 mm, the sphericity of 0.9-1.0 and the roundness of 0.9-1.0. The selective water-blocking, oil-permeable and sand-preventing proppant can block water in a water-containing oil layer conveniently and effectively and has oil-permeable and sand-preventing functions, so that a large number of underground oil poll resources can be saved.
