Summary:The invention discloses a flame-proof type power box for a roadway, which comprises a metal body made from a thermally treated alloy material, wherein the alloy material comprises the following components: 1-2% of Si, 0.7% of At, 1.2% of Se, 0.3% of Al, 0.7% of Zn, 0.9% of Hf and Cu and inevitable impurities in balancing amount. The alloy material is thermally treated through the following steps: 1) heating to 670 DEG C at the speed of 25 DEG C/min, and performing heat preservation for 3.5 h; 2) cooling to room temperature at the speed of 35 DEG C/min; 3) heating to 770 DEG C at the speed of 20 DEG C/min, and performing heating preservation for 2.5 h; and 4) cooling to room temperature at the speed of 15 DEG C/min. the metal body of the flame-proof type power box for the roadway has good properties and a long service life.
