Chiral imidazolone is supported on pentaerythritol to obtain a novel pentaerythritol-supported chiral imidazolone catalyst, and the catalyst is used for catalyzing an asymmetric Diels-Alder cycloaddition reaction, so that the high yield of catalyzing the asymmetric reaction by the chiral imidazolone catalyst is kept, stereo-selectivity is improved, a high-optical-purity chiral compound is obtained, and meanwhile the recycling of the chiral catalyst is realized. A reaction route is simple and feasible, posttreatment is simple, the complex high-optical-purity chiral compound serves as an intermediate or an end product of medicines and pesticides, and important application value is achieved.
