Summary:The invention relates to an antibacterial emulsion and a preparation method thereof. The antibacterial emulsion is prepared from 1-3 parts by weight of dimethylaminopropylmethacrylamide, 2-6 parts by weight of 1, 6-dibromohexane, 20-30 parts by weight of acetone, 50-60 parts by weight of a monomer, 0.6-1.8 parts by weight of an emulsifier, 0.12-0.24 parts by weight of an initiator and 44-46 parts by weight of water. The monomer is prepared from styrene and butyl acrylate by mixing according to a mass ratio of 1: 1-3. The antibacterial emulsion has high solid content, low viscosity, good balance of anion and cation and a high coating antibiosis rate.
