Summary:The present invention discloses a storage device management method and apparatus. When a user needs to perform batch management operations on multiple sub devices in a storage array, the method comprises: outputting a management code template through a first preset worktable interface of a management software client, and receiving a user-input management code generated based on the management code template; parsing the management code, determining a command function of each operation during implementation of the batch management operations, and generating basic commands, of which the number is corresponding to the number of times of the batch management operations according to parameter information and the command functions; and transmitting the basic commands to operation objects corresponding to the batch management operations that are determined in the multiple sub storage devices according to the parameter information. According to the method and apparatus disclosed by the invention, the problems of complex and time-consuming configuration and management process of existing storage arrays are sovled.
