The high-Ni-content self-protection flux-cored wire comprises wire skin and a flux core. According to the formula of flux powder of the flux core, the flux powder of the flux core comprise, by mass, 40%-60% of fluoride, 10%-22% of oxides, 1%-8% of carbonate, 0.5%-2% of aluminum powder, 12%-18% of Al-Mg alloy powder, 3%-10% of electrolytic manganese metal, 12%-25% of nickel powder and 0.1%-0.6% of metallic zirconium. The high-Ni-content self-protection flux-cored wire for welding the high-steel-grade pipeline has the advantages that the situation that a large amount of smoke and harmful gas is generated in the welding process can be avoided, the nitrogen content and the oxygen content in a molten bath are reduced, the content of freedom nitrogen in weld metal is reduced, MA components are refined, a weld joint is effectively improved, and the impact toughness is high.
