The invention provides a novel acid-base chemical adding device. The novel acid-base chemical adding device comprises a base, an acid metering box, a base metering box and an electronic control cabinet. Manholes, water inlets and liquid inlets are formed in the top end of the acid metering box and the top end of the base metering box. Vertically-symmetric liquidometer connectors are arranged on the side wall of the acid metering box and the side wall of the base metering box. Overflow openings are formed in the near top end of the acid metering box and the near top end of the base metering box. Drain outlets and chemical outlets are formed in the near bottom end of the acid metering box and the near bottom end of the base metering box. Magnetism rolling board liquidometers are arranged on the liquidometer connectors. The chemical outlet of the acid metering box and the chemical outlet the base metering box are connected with an acid adding system and a base adding system respectively. The acid adding system and the base adding system each comprise two metering pumps and metering pipelines connected with the metering pumps, one end of each metering pipeline is connected with the corresponding chemical outlet, and the other end of each metering pipeline is connected with an air pocket. The air pockets are connected with metering pump liquid outflow pipelines, the metering pipelines are sequentially provided with two rubber-lined diaphragm valves and a Y-shaped filter from the chemical outlets to the metering pumps, the liquid outflow pipelines are sequentially provided with fluorine-lined check valves and stainless steel check valves from top to bottom, and the air pockets are provided with pressure meters, buffer tanks and rubber-lined diaphragm valves, all of which are sequentially connected.
