Summary:An operating unit (5) for an injection molding machine (6) comprises: particularly a touch-sensitive monitor (7), which displays sub-menus that can be called and selected or set user main menus of machine-specific parameters (P); a control or regulating unit (8) for transmitting operating signals to an injection molding machine element (9); at least one operating key (10). When the operating key is operated, the control or regulating unit triggers action of the injection molding machine element.
