The invention provides a terminal and a compressor with the same. The terminal is installed on the compressor, a pair of terminal plates is fixed on a center side of the compressor for pins, and the connection work performance of the terminal on the terminal plates is good. The terminal 60 is installed on the enclosed compressor. The terminal is provided with a terminal body 61; a cylindrical terminal pin 62 extending in such a manner that the terminal body is penetrated through; and the pair of terminal plate 63. The terminal pin is provided with an inner side part 62a which is arranged on the center side of the compressor when the terminal is installed on the compressor; and an outer side part 62b which is arranged on the outer side of the compressor. The terminal plates are fixed on the outer peripheral surface of the inner side part of the terminal pin. Each terminal plate is provided with a prolonging part 63a, and the prolonging part is closer to the center side of the compressor than the end surface 62aa, close to the center side of the compressor, of the inner side part of the terminal pin. The outer diameter D1 of the inner side part of the terminal pin is larger than the outer diameter D2 of the outer side.
