The invention discloses a grooving machine for a ball body of a ball valve. The grooving machine comprises an installation plate. A feeding groove is fixed to the left end of the installation plate, a positioning groove is fixed to the right end of the feeding groove, and a cutter feeding opening is formed in the right end of the positioning groove. The front and rear portions of the positioning groove are both fixedly provided with clamping plates. The front and rear portions of the installation plate are both fixedly provided with clamping air cylinders. An unloading opening is formed in the rear portion of the installation plate. A grooving device is arranged on the right side of the positioning groove. The grooving machine for the ball body of the ball valve has the advantages of being small in occupied area, low in manufacturing cost and the like, realizes automatic feeding of the ball body of the ball valve, carries out grooving treatment on the ball body of the ball valve, is high in automation degree, improves the production efficiency of the ball body of the ball valve and saves manpower and material resources.
