The invention provides an accident transformer substation video frame automatic acquisition system. The system comprises a transformer substation communication manager which is provided with an accident buzzer signal backup contact. The transformer substation communication manager is connected with a video monitoring system via the accident buzzer signal backup contact. The video monitoring system is also connected with a background master station. The video monitoring system comprises a video signal acquisition unit, an environment monitoring unit, a data transmission unit, a control unit, a storage unit and a display unit. The video signal acquisition unit and the environment monitoring unit are connected with the data transmission unit. The data transmission unit is also connected with the control unit. The control unit is also connected with the storage unit and the display unit respectively. The accident transformer substation video frame automatic acquisition system is low in cost and simple and reliable in wiring mode so that on-duty dispatchers are enabled to timely track and examine the operation situation of an accident transformer substation.
