The present invention relates to the field of mobile communication, and provides a mobile terminal double-screen display method. A mobile terminal comprises a main touch screen and a subsidiary touch screen. The method comprises acquiring a working state of the main touch screen; judging if the main touch screen is at a screen off state or a screen on state; when the main touch screen is at the screen off state, setting the working state of the subsidiary touch screen to be at an information display state or a screen off state; and when the main touch screen is at the screen on state, setting the working state of the subsidiary touch screen to be at a functional key display state, functional keys displayed by the subsidiary touch screen being mapping the functional keys of the main touch screen. A mobile terminal used for the above method is also provided. A user can see useful information such as time, notes and electric quantity through the subsidiary touch screen when the main touch screen is at the screen off state, thereby saving electricity; and the information display state and the functional key display state of the subsidiary touch screen are alternate, thereby realizing multiple functions and improving man-machine interaction experiences of the mobile terminal.
