Summary:The invention discloses a preparation method of alkyl glycoside. The method includes the step of preparing alkyl glycoside with glucose and C8-C20 fatty alcohol as raw materials under the effect of binary catalysts through the glycosidation reaction, alcohol removal, decoloring and bleaching. By means of the method, carrying agent is added in the alcohol removal process, the reaction temperature is low, and thermal decomposition of glucose is reduced. Decoloring assistant is added in the bleaching process, the consumption of hydrogen peroxide is lowered, reducing agent is used for removing residual hydrogen peroxide, and peculiar smell produced in the placement process of alkyl glycoside is reduced. The method is simple in process and low in cost, and colorless and flavorless alkyl glycoside excellent in performance can be obtained.
