Summary:The invention relates to a vehicle roof with a first and a second shading arrangement or a first and a second cover for closing a respective opening in the vehicle roof. The shading arrangements or the covers are arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction of the roof and can be moved by at least one drive means (26) which is guided in a compression resistant manner. The drive means (26) is guided in a first guide channel of a first guide rail (10) in the region of the first shading arrangement or of the first cover and in a second guide channel of a second guide rail (12) in the region of the second shading arrangement or of the second cover. According to the invention, a transfer component (14) is provided with transfers the drive means (26) from the first to the second guide channel without buckling.
