Summary:The invention discloses a diesel thermostat with the adjustable water outlet direction and a locking function. According to the structure of the diesel thermostat, the upper portion of a thermostat housing is used as a water discharging channel of major circulation water of a cooling system, two locking bosses are arranged at the bottom end of the thermostat housing, and the thermostat housing is sequentially provided with a guide ring zone, a sealing ring zone and a thermostat housing water outlet. A thermostat base is sequentially provided with a guide groove, a ring groove, a thermostat mounting surface and a thermostat base sealing ring zone from top to bottom; a thermostat base water inlet and a minor circulation water outlet are formed in the bottom end of the thermostat base side by side. The guide ring zone is connected with the guide groove of the thermostat base in a positioned mode, the thermostat housing is inserted into the ring groove of the thermostat base, and thus a thermostat assembly is assembled between the thermostat housing and the thermostat base in a positioned mode. The angle of the thermostat housing in the guide groove of the thermostat base can be adjusted freely. The requirement for arrangement of thermostat water outlets of different vehicle types can be met through the structure, and the requirement for different water discharging directions of the thermostat can be met only through one thermostat housing.
