Summary:An automatic focusing method, an automatic focusing device and a camera device are provided. The method comprises the steps as follows: acquiring an infrared modulation signal emitted to an object to be shot and an infrared modulation signal reflected back by the object to be shot; respectively mixing the emitted infrared modulation signal and the received infrared modulation signal with a difference frequency signal, and comparing the phases of two obtained mixing signals to obtain the phase difference between the two mixing signals; calculating the distance between a lens and the object to be shot according to the phase difference; and controlling the angle of rotation of the lens according to the calculated distance between the lens and the object to be shot. By adopting the scheme, focusing of the lens can be completed automatically and accurately, the operation is fast, and the cost is low.
