Summary:The invention provides a method and device for communication between an application and a mobile terminal, and relates to the field of communication. The method and the device solve the problems that in the prior art, modes for achieving communication between the application and the mobile terminal do not have the united standard and are poor in reusability and difficult to expand. The method for communication between the application and the mobile terminal includes the steps of obtaining a protocol interpreter corresponding to the application according to calling information of an application language, calling related functions of the mobile terminal through the protocol interpreter, conducting data processing, and returning processed data to the application. By means of the scheme, a united standard is provided for communication between the application and the mobile terminal, and the aims of high reusability and easy expanding are achieved.
