The invention relates to a needle mushroom cultivation material and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of edible fungi cultivation. The needle mushroom cultivation material comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 30-40 parts of wheat bran, 15-25 parts of purslane, 10-16 parts of soybean meal, 1-5 parts of gypsum powder, 1-5 parts of urea, 1-5 parts of bacillus coagulans, 1-5 parts of bacillus subtilis and 0.1-0.5 part of a nutrition additive. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing and crushing the raw materials except for bacterial strains, and treating the raw materials at 80-90 DEG C for 30-40 minutes; cooling the raw materials to 40 DEG C, adding the strains, stirring evenly, and dividing the mixture into 200-260g for each bag; and punching 6-10 holes in each bag, and placing in a place without direct sunlight for 6-8 days, so as to obtain the needle mushroom cultivation material. The needle mushroom cultivation material is reasonable in proportion, balanced in nutrition and low in cost; needle mushroom can vigorously grow; the yield is greatly improved; meanwhile, the culture time can be shortened; and the economical benefits are improved.
