The invention relates to a seat for a high-speed rail vehicle. The seat comprises a backrest assembly, a seat cushion assembly and an underframe, wherein the backrest assembly comprises a backrest skeleton and a backrest cushion, the seat cushion assembly comprises a seat cushion skeleton and a seat cushion, a layer of covering cloth is mounted outside the backrest cushion and the seat cushion, the backrest skeleton and/or the seat cushion skeleton and/or the underframe are made from perforated plates, and melamine sound-absorbing materials are mounted in the backrest assembly and/or the seat cushion assembly and/or the underframe. According to the seat for the high-speed rail vehicle, the seat backrest, the seat cushion, and the covering cloth of the backrest and the seat cushion are made from sound absorbing materials with good sound-absorption effects, meanwhile, the skeletons of the seat are made from the perforated plates, so as to absorb noises of different frequency bands in the vehicle, and thus, the aims of lowering internal noise of a train and improving internal NVH (Noise Vibration and Harshness) performance of the train are achieved.
