Summary:The invention discloses a high-availability cluster implementation method and system. The method comprises the steps of providing a shared storage for a main node and a spare node through division, establishing an ORACLE database example of a resource group to be managed in the shared storage by means of K-HA software, managing the resource group by managing the database example, switching all resources in the main node to the spare node when it is detected that certain resources in the resource group break down. According to the method and system, the K-HA software and the ORACLE database are effectively combined, the service switching continuity of a high-availability cluster is improved, and then the operation performance of the high-availability cluster is improved.
