Summary: | The invention relates to the field of insulation protection devices in a high-voltage distribution line, and particularly relates to a drop switch insulation arc suppression cover, which comprises a cover body. The cover body is internally provided with an arc suppression chamber, a wire connection chamber, an insulator chamber and a channel part connecting the insulator chamber and the arc suppression chamber, wherein the arc suppression chamber is internally provided with an arc suppression core; the insulator chamber has a semi-split structure which can accommodate the end part of a post insulator conveniently; the arc suppression core has an integrated structure and comprises a plate shell and an arc suppression sheet; and the arc suppression sheet comprises grid plates and arc isolation island, the grid plates at two sides of the arc isolation island are arranged symmetrically, and the number of the grid plates is an odd number more than one. Compared with the prior art, the drop switch insulation arc suppression cover has the beneficial effects that arc injuries and phase-to-phase short circuit accidents caused by closing the drop switch when the distribution line is subjected to interruption maintenance, accident processing and power recovering can be effectively reduced or avoided, and unsafe hidden dangers and accidents caused to the equipment and the human body by the drop switch in the air can be reduced. |
