Summary:The invention discloses an air conditioner and a fault detection method, device and system thereof. The method comprises the following step: obtaining first parameters and second parameters, wherein the first parameters are power grid parameters of a power grid where the air conditioner accesses to, and the second parameters are operating parameters of the air conditioner; detecting whether a compressor of the air conditioner starts a protection action, wherein the protection action of the compressor is the action for cutting off the power supply of the compressor; and under the condition of detecting that the compressor starts the protection action, sending the first parameters and the second parameters to terminal equipment to enable the terminal equipment to carry out analysis on the first parameters and the second parameters respectively. The technical problem of low accuracy in detecting abnormity reasons of the compressor in the prior art is solved.
