The invention discloses a method and a terminal for realizing contact information display. The terminal comprises a pressure acquisition unit and a matching display unit. The pressure acquisition unit is used to acquire an effective pressure value from input pressure values at a window containing contact information. The matching display unit is used to display contact information matched with the acquired effective pressure value according to a preset matching display relationship. According to the invention, the effective pressure value is acquired first, and then the contact information corresponding to the effective pressure value is displayed in a matching mode, so that one-by-one contact information display is not needed, and efficient contact information display is realized. As the contact information corresponding to the effective pressure value is displayed according to the pressure value, display error caused by inaccurate click on a letter retrieving label is avoided, and the accuracy of needed contact information display is improved.
